Harlem, Manhattan — According to the NYPD and sources, a woman allegedly beat a guy to death on a Manhattan street Tuesday after he refused to pay her for performing a sex act on him.
Sabrina Charles, 39, allegedly assaulted an unnamed man with a piece of wooden furniture in front of 19 Hancock Place near 125th Street in Harlem at 4:25 p.m., according to police and sources.
According to authorities, Charles allegedly beat the woman repeatedly in the head after she performed a sex act on him between two parked automobiles. According to accounts, Charles alleged that the victim had raped her before the fatal attack. She was taken to the hospital for an examination.
According to police, the woman and the victim knew each other and were allegedly taking drugs at the time of the event.
Charles, a Manhattan resident, has been detained and charged with murder, criminal possession of a firearm, and illegal possession of stolen items, according to authorities. Charles has previously been arrested for narcotics possession and prostitution, according to authorities.
Her arraignment was set for Wednesday.
