The Aurora Police Department says that a shooting at a party in Aurora on Saturday night killed a 14-year-old girl and hurt two other teenage girls.
A police report from Sunday, September 9, says the shooting took place at a party in a park in the 1400 block of South Uravan Street. A report from the police department early Sunday morning said that three girls, two 14-year-olds and one 15-year-old, from Aurora, were taken to nearby hospitals.
Police say that one of the 14-year-old girls was declared dead soon after getting to the hospital. No one knows what’s going on with the other two girls.
When there was a fight at the party, many minors were there, and cops say someone fired a gun. Investigators think that the killing was an isolated event and that the public is not in danger.
The investigation is still going on, and no one has been arrested yet. Metro Denver Crime Stoppers can be reached at 720-913-7867 by anyone who knows anything about the party and killing.
